Reach For the Sky with An Advertising and Design Degree

It is completely possible to have your work recognized and to earn a serious sense of accomplishment when you are working toward an advertising and design degree. Recently, two students were recognized for their outstanding work by Sky, which shows off some of the top advertising in the UK. Paul Mann and Dani Brown, were attending Sunderland University and working toward their advertising and design degrees when they decided to participate in the Young Creative Network Awards.  The challenge presented was to reach a targeted audience, people over the age of 55, and to encourage the audience to rely on Sky’s products and services.

Brown and Mann also decided to use images of the moon landing to create a sense of nostalgia and to tap into the target audience’s most vibrant memories; Sky loved it and believes that Brown and Mann’s work is an extraordinary example for future advertising and design degree students everywhere. 

Nearing the completion of their studies at Sunderland, the pair will be working of an advertising agency in London, and the pair recommends Sunderland to anyone looking to get an advertising and design degree from an accredited school.
