All New Game Design Programs at DigiPen Institute of Technology

If you’re considering game design programs, then you may want to consider the new programs being offered by DigiPen Institute of Technology. The new programs are set for launch this Fall at DigiPen’s Redmond Campus; both of which are four years in duration in order to complete. DigiPen is now offering a Bachelors of Arts and a Bachelors of Science in Game Design, to meet the industries demand for new game designers.

The two new programs being presented to future students include level and game play design, and students can select from a focus on art or a focus on programming depending upon the student’s preference. 

The objective of the curriculum designed by DigiPen is to create a gaming designer that is versatile, and therefore more adaptable for gaming industry positions. DigiPen is known for educating some incredible gaming designers in the past: past students of DigiPen have created Portal at Valve, while others have been employed by big named companies in the gaming industry like Activision, ArenaNet, Bungie, Monolith and Nintendo.
